Commission

Each driver on OMNI needs an annual membership that must be paid at the beginning of the onboarding that will allow you to receive trips throughout the year. All drivers must keep their memberships active. As a driver, you can cancel your OMNI membership at any time.

Drivers can subscribe to any vehicle type to drive with OMNI. Each driver can register one (1) vehicle with a single phone number within the application. You may only use one vehicle at a time to receive rides.

Commission cost varies between each State.

YOU’LL GET 100% OF THE FARE!* In exchange, drivers only pay OMNI a monthly subscription fee. You  keep 100% of the fare, tip, cancellation and wait time fees (less any credit/debit card merchant fees-typically 3-4%).

Commission Plan:

Commission per trip: 18% to 25% commission from the final price per order depending on the city. — Commission fee applies to rides and cancellation fees. Commission doesn't apply to tips, bonuses, additional airport or toll fees. Commission is calculated automatically and deducted from the weekly earnings.
Additional fees: A 5% insurance fee and 4% tax fee will be charged, both regulated by the state of California. (PROP 22)

Coverage: Local regions within the same state

Annual Membership Fee: $100 annually in California

Activation Requirements:

Vehicle Inspection: $20

Background Check and Drug Test: $27.50

A vehicle inspection, background check, and drug test are required before an account can be activated; this is not included in the subscription. No charge for driver onboarding kit.

What is the process for paying the driver's membership?

As soon as OMNI begins operations, commission payments will be handled directly through the driver app. First, you must be approved as a driver, then you must make your payment for the membership during the onboarding.
