The following are the requirements for driver approval

We at OMNI strive to create a better rider and driver experience.

In order to become a driver on our platform, you must meet a few requirements.

- Have a valid driver's license.

02

Vehicle Requirements

ECONOMY Category: 2014 to 2017. For the rest of the categories, CLASSIC, XL, PREMIUM and EV, vehicles must be at least 6 years old (2018 to 2025) and registered under the driver's name preferably.

Cars must have four doors and a minimum of five seatbelts, which makes it easy to load and unload luggage.

Vehicles must pass any necessary inspection required by your city or state.

Well-maintained, clean, and fully functional.

Vehicles cannot be taxis or stretch limousines.

03

Insurance Requirements

To drive with OMNI you need a personal auto insurance policy that satisfies California's minimum coverage requirements.

OMNI will offer insurance for its drivers while they're on the clock, but the coverage varies depending on the type of incident and if the driver is waiting for a passenger or has one in the vehicle.

If you want to become an OMNI driver, talk with your insurance provider before signing up. The company could cancel your policy if you don't disclose the new gig. In talking with your provider, you could also identify coverage gaps, which may lead you to buy rideshare insurance or, if that's unavailable in your location, commercial insurance.
