Driver Subscription Policy

OMNI is a software platform that provides independent drivers with the tools and technology to connect with riders, manage requests, and grow their business. OMNI does not dispatch rides or control fares. Drivers are fully independent and operate on their own terms.

Access to the OMNI platform is offered through a monthly subscription model, which enables use of the driver app and platform features.

1. Purpose of the Subscription

A subscription to OMNI gives drivers:

  • Access to the OMNI Driver App (iOS and Android)
  • Visibility on the platform for receiving ride requests
  • Tools for real-time tracking, navigation, trip history, and payout tracking
  • Built-in safety features including emergency access and driver verification
  • Secure in-app communication and rating system
  • A personal dashboard to manage documents and driver profile

OMNI does not take a commission from any fare. 100% of the fare (minus Stripe payment processing fees) goes directly to the driver.

2. Subscription Plans

Drivers may select one of the following monthly plans based on their vehicle type and service level.

All registered drivers are automatically placed on the Starter Plan ($0/month), giving access to up to 30 ride requests per month. Upgrade anytime to unlock unlimited access and additional features.

OMNI now offers a Starter Plan at $0/month, giving new drivers the opportunity to try the platform with no commitment. With this free plan, drivers can access up to 30 ride requests per month, explore the tools, connect Stripe for payouts, and experience how OMNI works — all without entering payment details. When you're ready to grow your ride business, you can upgrade to a full subscription plan for unlimited access and more features. It’s risk-free, commission-free, and built entirely for independent drivers.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.

3. Payments & Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe using the card on file.
  • Drivers are responsible for maintaining an active subscription to receive ride requests.
  • OMNI does not withhold any portion of driver earnings — only Stripe’s standard fee (approx. 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) applies.
  • Drivers may cancel their subscription at any time through the app or by contacting driver support.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Drivers may cancel a subscription at any time prior to the next billing cycle.
  • OMNI does not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
  • If a subscription is canceled during the free trial, the driver will not be charged.
  • Inactive accounts may be paused or removed from the app if no active subscription is detected after 30 days.

5. Updating Plans

Drivers may change their subscription level at any time by upgrading or downgrading based on their current vehicle.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately.
  • Downgrades take effect on the next billing cycle.

6. Subscription Eligibility

To maintain an active subscription, drivers must:

  • Meet OMNI’s basic eligibility requirements (age, documentation, clean background check)
  • Keep all documents current (driver’s license, insurance, registration, inspection)
  • Operate a vehicle that meets minimum standards for cleanliness and condition

Failure to meet these requirements may result in the suspension of platform access.

7. Platform Access Disclaimer

OMNI is a technology provider — not a transportation company. We do not:

  • Dispatch or assign rides
  • Intervene in fare negotiations or payment disputes
  • Provide insurance coverage
  • Collect taxes or fees on behalf of any government agency

All drivers are responsible for complying with applicable laws and maintaining insurance coverage suitable for their personal operations.
