At OMNI, we prioritize trust and safety for our drivers and riders. Completing the identity verification process is a key step to ensuring a secure platform for everyone. Follow these simple steps to complete your identity verification powered by Yardstik:


Step-by-Step Guide for Identity Verification

  1. Start the Process

    • Open the OMNI Driver app or the link provided by email to begin the verification process.
    • If you're on a computer, you'll see a QR code. Scan this code with your mobile device to continue the process.

  3. Get Your Driver's License or State ID Ready

    • Select "Let’s Get Started" to begin.
  4. Take Photos of Your ID

    • Follow the prompts to take a clear photo of the front and back of your Driver’s License or State ID.
    • Yardstik will verify the legitimacy of your ID. This typically takes only a few seconds.
  5. Take a Selfie for Verification

    • After your ID is verified, you’ll be asked to take a selfie. This ensures:
      • Liveness: Confirms that you are physically present.
      • Match: Compares your selfie with the photo on your ID.

  6. You're Done!

    • Once your identity is verified, any additional screening requirements (e.g., background checks or driving records) will automatically begin using the data from your ID.
    • This seamless process ensures clean data and saves you time.

What Happens If Verification Fails?

If Yardstik cannot verify your identity:

  1. You’ll receive a message indicating that your identity couldn’t be confirmed.
  2. Contact OMNI Support through the app or by emailing support@rideomni.com to address the issue.
  3. If OMNI can confirm your identity manually, we will move you forward in the onboarding process.
