Why Do I Need a Vehicle Inspection?
To ensure the safety and quality of rides, all OMNI drivers must pass a 19-point vehicle inspection before being approved. This inspection ensures your vehicle meets the standards required to provide safe and comfortable transportation for riders.
Accepted Inspections
- You may use a recent inspection (completed within the last 12 months) from another rideshare platform if it meets our requirements.
- If your inspection is not accepted, you’ll need to get a new one.
Where to Get an Inspection
For the best results, visit one of the following trusted locations:
- Jiffy Lube
- Wheelworks
- Rideshare Mechanic
- Pep Boys
- Firestone
When getting your inspection, ensure the document includes an official shop stamp, and/or also upload your inspection receipt.
Important Notes
- Inspections conducted outside of the recommended providers may not be accepted.
- Submitting inaccurate or false inspection documents can result in your application being suspended or canceled.
What to Do If Your Vehicle Fails Inspection
If your vehicle does not pass, the shop will provide a list of necessary repairs. Once the issues are resolved, you’ll need to complete another inspection.
