What is Child Seat Mode? Child Seat Mode is a feature that allows parents to travel safely with their children by matching them with drivers who have vehicles equipped with forward-facing car seats.


How do I book a ride with Child Seat Mode?

  1. Open the OMNI app.

  2. Select the 'Child Seat' ride option.

  3. Enter your pickup and drop-off locations.

  4. Confirm and request your ride.


How much does Child Seat Mode cost? A $10 fee is added to your ride fare for using Child Seat Mode.


What ages and sizes are supported? Car seats are suitable for children:

  • Between 31” - 52” in height.

  • Weighing 22 - 48 lbs.

  • Over the age of 2.


What are my responsibilities as a rider?

  • Inspect the car seat before the trip.

  • Secure your child properly in the car seat.

  • Remove your child and any belongings at the end of the ride.


What are the driver’s responsibilities?

  • Pass a safety test on car seat installation.

  • Install and uninstall the car seat as required.

  • Ensure the car seat is safe and in good condition.


What should I do if I have concerns about a car seat’s safety? Contact OMNI Support through the app for assistance.


How many children can use Child Seat Mode in a single ride? Each ride is limited to one child using the car seat.


Who is liable for car seat safety? Riders are responsible for securing their children properly in the car seat. OMNI is not liable for improperly secured children or car seats. For concerns, reach out to OMNI Support.
