Car Seat Mode: Travel Safely with Your Child

Child Seat Mode makes it convenient for parents to travel with their children safely. This feature matches riders with vehicles equipped with car seats, ensuring a smooth and secure ride.

Currently, Child Seat Mode is available in select cities. If this feature is available in your area, you’ll see the option when requesting a ride.

How to Request a Car Seat Ride

1. Open the OMNI app and select the 'Child Seat' ride option.

2. Enter your pickup and drop-off locations.

3. Confirm and request the ride.

4. Once the driver arrives, it’s your responsibility to secure your child in the car seat before starting the trip.

Pricing

An additional fee of $10 will be applied to the ride fare for Child Seat Mode.

Safety Details

• Car Seat Specification:

  • Suitable for children between 31” - 52” in height and 22 - 48 lbs in weight.

  • Not suitable for children under 2 years old.

• Rider Responsibilities:

  • Verify the car seat’s safety and security before starting the trip.

  • Properly secure your child in the car seat.

  • Remove your child and belongings at the end of the ride.

• Driver Responsibilities:

  • Install and uninstall car seats before and after each ride.

  • Pass OMNI’s car seat safety test.

  • Ensure the car seat is in good working condition before each trip.

• Limit one child per ride using Child Seat Mode.

• Riders are encouraged to inspect the car seat before use. If you have concerns about its condition, contact OMNI Support.
